Alumni Band a huge hit

The Ohio State Alumni Club of Knox County hosted The Ohio State University Alumni Band for a community concert at Ariel Foundation Park on June 22, 2019.  Over 600 community members and their guests filled the Schnormeier Event Center on a hot summer night to “get the Buckeye fever.” The concert was held in conjunction with Ariel Foundation Park Summer Concert Series as this unique park concert found only in Mount Vernon, Ohio.  

The Club presented our very first $10,000 BIG 10 scholarship winner to Sarah Lord.  This concert is one of several events held to raise scholarship funds that are used to provide scholarships to Knox County Students who choose to attend Ohio State.
